Butler County 
Technical Rescue Team

The Butler County Technical Rescue Team is an effort of the Butler County Emergency Management Agency and Butler County Technical Rescue Governing Board and operates under the tenants the Technical Rescue Governing Board and the Butler County Technical Rescue Administrative & Operational Polices.  

Team members are comprised of trained personnel from qualified first responder agencies, including fire, police and other departments that will be an asset to the mission of the Technical Rescue Team.

Currently, Butler County Technical Rescue Team has over 65 technicians specially trained in:

• Confined Space

• Trench Rescue

• High Angle Rescue

• Search & Rescue

• Structure Collapse

• Swift Water Rescue

• Flood Rescue

Application for membership shall be obtained directly from the local Fire Chief, EMA Director, Police Chief, or from the director of the county services involved in the Technical Rescue. The application is to be returned to your local department director. The local department director will return the application to a Governing Board member.
