Technical Rescue Team
The Butler County Technical Rescue Team is a collaborative effort of the Butler County Emergency Management Agency and the Butler County Technical Rescue Governing Board. The Team operates in accordance with the policies and guidelines established by the Technical Rescue Governing Board and the Butler County Technical Rescue Administrative & Operational Policies.
Team members are comprised of trained personnel from qualified first responder agencies, including fire, law enforcement, and other emergency response organizations. Each member brings specialized skills and expertise that contribute to the Team’s mission and enhance its ability to respond effectively to technical rescue incidents throughout Butler County.
Currently, the Butler County Technical Rescue Team has more than 65 technicians who are specially trained in:

Application for membership shall be obtained directly from the local Fire Chief, EMA Director, Police Chief, or from the director of the county services involved in the Technical Rescue. The application is to be returned to your local department director. The local department director will return the application to a Governing Board member.
