Incident Management Team

The State of Ohio | Butler County Incident Management Team (IMT), is an experienced, all-hazards incident management team capable of responding to a broad spectrum of emergencies and complex incidents. The Team provides incident management support, coordination, and oversight to local, state, and federal jurisdictions.

The IMT is comprised of professionals from a variety of disciplines representing both the public and private sectors throughout the region. The majority of team members come from the emergency response community in Southwest Ohio, supplemented by select subject matter experts whose specialized knowledge and experience enhance the Team’s capabilities.

 

Members receive training in a wide range of incident management disciplines, enabling the Team to provide qualified personnel and specialized expertise across multiple operational functions. This multidisciplinary approach allows the IMT to effectively integrate with existing command structures and support agencies during incidents of any size or complexity.

 

The Butler County Incident Management Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to support local, state, and national-level incidents.

Deployment: Columbiana County Train Derailment — February 4, 2022

The Butler County Incident Management Team was deployed to Columbiana County to assist local officials and emergency responders with incident management and coordination following the train derailment.
